Carroll County Genealogical Society is looking for enthusiastic individuals who want to make a positive contribution in the genealogical community. Below are areas where we have opportunities.
Wednesday Special Collections Volunteers
Volunteer for two hours on Wednesdays as a host in the new History Room at the Neva Lomason Library. When patrons come to the library asking for genealogical assistance, the library staff suggests that they come on Wednesdays when the Society has volunteers on hand. We are happy to announce that our volunteers will be returning on Wednesdays starting February 2024! A volunteer will be available during the month of February 2024 on the first Wednesday (February 7th) from 9:30am – 12:00pm, and on the third Wednesday (February 21st) from 1:00pm – 3:30pm.
