Fall 2017 Genealogy Workshop — Introduction to Autosomal DNA & Genetic Genealogy

If you were fortunate enough to hear Yvonne Mashburn Schmidt speak at our society meeting in July on “About that Native American Grandmother . . .”, you are in for another treat in September.

Yvonne Mashburn Schmidt will lead our Fall Workshop to be held in Carrollton at the Veterans Building on Stripling Chapel Road on September 30, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. Her topic this time is “Introduction to Autosomal DNA & Genetic Genealogy” – a popular topic today.

Yvonne, a Certified Genealogist, specializes in Georgia records, African American and Native American families with Georgian ancestors, and Genetic Genealogy.

The workshop is free to members and non-members alike, but we would like to know if you are coming. Please register online at ccgsga76@gmail.com  or by calling Bill Maddox at 770-832-6442.

Bring your laptops! This is a hands-on workshop.
